Media Film Festival to screen ‘The Other’

Iranian short flick ‘The Other’ has made its way to the 14th Media Film Festival (MFF) in the US.

The short film, co-directed by Saman Hosseinpour and Ako Zand-Karimi, will be screened at the MFF next month.

It is about a traditional man. After the death of his wife, he suspects that she had been having an affair.

‘The Other’ took part at several festivals, including the 13th Sofia MENAR Film Festival in Bulgaria, the Mithiwood Film Festival in India, and the Gbeck Future Film Festival in Canada.

Earlier reports said ‘Slaughter’, another film by Hosseinpour and Zand-Karimi, will also go on screen at the MFF.

The MFF will also screen Reihaneh Mortezaeenia’s short film ‘Braceball’.

The 14th MFF will take place on April 9-18, 2021.

The hybrid event will include drive-in and virtual screenings.
